FindRetireHome is operated by TopAhead Technology Solutions, Inc and helps families research and connect with senior living communities. We are not a medical provider, hospital, health plan, or health-care clearinghouse, and in ordinary operation of our consumer website and referral service we are generally not a HIPAA "Covered Entity."

When you share care preferences or assessment answers (for example, interest in memory care or help with daily activities), we use that information to help match and introduce you to communities under our Privacy Policy. That is not the same as receiving medical treatment from us, and this statement is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Senior living communities and health-care providers you contact may be Covered Entities (or otherwise regulated) and may give you their own HIPAA notices. Ask them directly about how they protect health information.
